Mark W. Bennett

For more than twenty years Attorney Mark W. Bennett has represented clients throughout Massachusetts. Mr. Bennett is skilled in all aspects of criminal defense, including pre-indictment investigations, bail hearings, motion practice, plea negotiations, jury and bench trials, sentencing hearings, and appeals.

Attorney Bennett began his career in the criminal justice system as a police officer in Baltimore, Maryland. Patrolling some of the city's toughest neighborhoods and later while assigned as a detective to the Criminal Investigation Division, Mr. Bennett learned what it took to write an accurate report, interview a reluctant witness, and develop the probable cause necessary to support a search or to make an arrest.

After law school, Mr. Bennett returned to his native Massachusetts. He served as an assistant district attorney in Middlesex County, where he prosecuted drug trafficking, motor vehicle homicides, firearms offenses, OUI and OUI/drugs, crimes of domestic violence, and a variety of other offenses.

In 1988 Mr. Bennett entered private practice. Attorney Bennett has successfully defended clients charged with crimes ranging from homicide to traffic offenses. Attorney Bennett's office is located at 487 Adams Street in Milton, MA, convenient to the Southeast Expressway (Rte. 93) and Rte. 95.
